High dose vitamin C infusions (over 10 grams) can be a powerful and effective tool for health and wellness.  Vitamin C is a vital nutrient for our bodies, but it is not produced within the body itself.  Thus, is needs to come from outside sources such as food and supplements, and on average we only absorb 25-30% of the vitamin C we consume by mouth.  Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that acts as an antioxidant in the body.  It boosts collagen production and immunity, and it protect against illness, oxidative stress, and free radicals.

There are many potential benefits of high dose vitamin C infusions including improved quality of skin, reduced risk of illness, wound healing, reduced inflammation, and improvement in fatigue.  Inflammation has many negative effects throughout the body. Vitamin C has a potent effect on lowering inflammation through various mechanisms as an antioxidant, immune system booster, and collagen stimulant.  Preliminary studies show it is an effective treatment for COVID-19, as persistent COVID symptoms are mostly related to inflammation.  High doses of vitamin C have been found to slow the growth of all kinds of cancer cells, including cancer of the liver, pancreas, colon, prostate, and skin.  High dose vitamin C infusions can also reduce chemotherapy-related side effects, especially fatigue.

Vitamin C delivered intravenously results in faster absorption by your body. It is very safe, with little to no risk of side effects, even at high doses.  A screening blood test to check for G6PD deficiency is needed prior to receiving high dose vitamin C infusions. If this is normal, then high dose vitamin C is extremely safe.  Infusions last an hour on average.  For optimal outcomes, it is recommended to have one infusion weekly for four weeks, then one maintenance infusion monthly.
